Back in the saddle

[This blog is closed, check out the links at the bottom for my new site and blogs. - Josh] Still working on the webpage. Trying to keep it simple and fast loading. I'm looking for a good user friendly web service to host free mp3 downloads. So far I like iLike the best with Jamendo a distant second. Garageband is already set up but they don't make it easy to find the free download button for songs. If you have suggestions let me know. Wrote a song (the music part anyways) this morning that has a very Springstein vibe to it. I'm finding it harder and harder to stick with the classic pop ABABCAB song structure. It is a great, reliable way to put a song together, just bored with it. I have a backlog of close to 50 songs now that are in a mix of states from complete melodies to half filled in lyrics. It is getting to be so many that I'm definitely starting to forget some. I'll bump into the chords for them months later and "oh yeah..." Ordered the upgrade for my recording software. After that's in I'll have to make the call on upgrading the recording computer too. Would be nice to be able to record more than three tracks before a mixdown. - Josh of
